My dilemma from Friday… I was offered a compromise that I found unacceptable. It’s my life, and I should do with it as I see fit. Forcing me into a solution is not acceptable to me. I’m all about an open dialogue, and if I’m not going to be an active participant in finding a solution, then I’ll have to do some pushing of my own.
I outlined my terms, and reiterated my rights as they have been communicated to me on previous occasions, so the ball is the other’s court. We can hash this out on the phone, or we can have a mature dialogue and come to a mutual conclusion.
Period.
I’m not going to be jerked around anymore. Either it gets worked out to everyone’s satisfaction, or it’s going to get ugly. I know what the obligation is, and I intend to live up to it. Just give me a chance to get to a place where I can fulfill my obligation without interference or inconvenience, to myself or the other party.
Sound fair?
Good.
UPDATE: Now I have to see someone, in person, to hash this all out. It’s on Thursday. I’ll miss school. The thing that gets me is that the other party knows I’m a full time student, and they just don’t care. But if this gets this issue behind me, then I won’t have to do this again.
That’s all from where I sit.
