Jeff Healey 1966-2008 March 3, 2008

The blind Canadian guitarist passed away yesterday at the age of 41. His first rock album in 8 years is due to be released in April.

He was first known for the song “Angel Eyes” in 1988.

According to Wikipedia, Healey lost his sight at the age of 1 due to retinoblastoma, and had been battling cancer his entire life.

He leaves a wife, 13 year old daughter and 3 year old son.
