Sunday was Jeff’s birthday. We had a celebration starting at Tori and Dean’s house (since it was also Dean’s birthday) with cake and present opening. Joey, whose birthday was the following day, had a blast tearing into gifts. Dean’s mom, Gloria, made three birthday cakes!
Later, we went to the Spaghetti Warehouse in Bricktown. We had a very gregarious waiter named Fletch (he told us that he was named after the Chevy Chase movies), who was more than helpful. I hope that he got a big tip.
I took Mom and Jeff back home, and waited for Daniel to come home from work so he could take me home. Usually, I would have spent the night, then drove Mom’s van to school from there, but I had someone picking me up at my apartment the next morning to take me to school (and no, it wasn’t a cab).
There was some hairy weather that had the possibility of turning into a tornado, so Daniel and I were dashing thru to get me home before anything weather related could happen.
(Something did happen north of Mom’s house… still too close for my liking though).
Over the weekend, I learned that UCO was waiting for my transcripts, and sent me a letter with my UCO student ID in it! It had instructions on how to access UCOnnect, the school’s internal internet system. From there, I learned I had a UCO email address!
And, it’s valid.
And, no, I’m not going to post it.
(there was more to this post, but it disappeared somehow…)
That’s all from where I sit.
