About work and play.
Let’s face it, we all have to work for a living. Sometimes, work tends to take up a large chunk of personal time, especially if you’re someone in charge and the whole shooting match will go to hell in a handbasket if you don’t do your part.
Yeah, yeah, Stef… so what else is new, eh?
For me, right now is crunch time. Three weeks or so until finals. I’m still doing homework, classwork, extra stuff, and I seriously wonder if it will all get done by May 1st. I thought I budgetted my time better this semester, but apparently, there was a flaw in my plan.
Well, crapola.
So now, I’m trying to take it one day, one hour, one minute, one second at a time. This is NOT the time for me to sit up nights worrying about stuff.
I have to play sometime, right?
Right?
The saying goes, “all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.” I firmly believe that you have to have a little play so that you can free your mind up to think clearly once you are working.
Because if not now, when? When are you going to make time for play?
Hmmm?
That’s all from where I sit.
