Weekend plans…? May 16, 2008

At the moment, I don’t have any, but that didn’t stop Larry from suggesting a few, such as:

• a gun show at the fairgrounds
• an arts and crafts market in Edmond
• fishing (?!)

I know he’s only trying to help, and I appreciate that. As much as I’ve been crabbing about a vacation, it’s Larry who needs one more. With fuel costs the way they are, no one’s going anywhere too far from home (so I guess that trip to Dallas Chaz wanted to take with me is out of the question. But, you never know).

Didn’t stop my sister and brother in law from taking all my kids, their kids and themselves to the Bahamas next month. Mom didn’t want to go, and I wasn’t even asked. And, my passport is expired anyway. I’m not even sure where it is, though I suspect it’s in Massachusetts with the rest of the stuff Jon was supposed to send me years ago, and pleaded poverty on.

Instead of Dallas, maybe Chaz and I could go to South Padre Island instead.

Naaah… gas is too expensive, remember?

Back to the weekend… I’ll just have to get a paper and see what’s going on around the metro. I need to get out of my apartment occasionally and live life.
