“There’s more to life than just what I can see…”

This song makes me cry… Every. Single. Time.

I was watching Extreme Makeover: Home Edition tonight, and they profiled this family whose oldest son was born blind and confined to a wheelchair. This young man, 19 years old, is an increidble musician, has this incredible outlook on life, and doesn’t consider himself what we would call “disabled”. During the show, he said something to the effect of “I’m an ordinary guy, just living my life.” Oh, he is so much more than that.

At the end of the show, he played Brooks and Dunn’s “Believe”. As if his extraordinary life wasn’t enough, he had to go and sing one of the songs that reduce me to tears. Every. Single. Time.
