I’m probably the only person in the world who doesn’t give a hoot about the Red River Rivalry.
Boomer Sooner? Maybe some other weekend.
Hook ‘em Horns? Yeah, what. ever.
It happens every year about this time. The hype and hoopla over this football game. All the local stations here (and in Texas, no doubt) run this thing into the ground for me.
It’s almost like UCLA and USC… that’s what I grew up hearing about. And if memory serves, I got kinda sick of that, too, after years and years of it.
So I won’t be travelling to Texas this weekend, or watching it on TV, because frankly, I. Don’t. Care.
I’ll watch the baseball playoffs instead. Go BoSox!

In my house, it’s 2 for UT and 1 for OU. Should be a good game.
