I’ve been so busy and so tired that I haven’t had time to breathe, much less do anything else like, oh, update my blog for example.
So what have I been doing? Working, mostly. My job at UCO started this week, and combined with the other job makes for one tired Stef. The upside to all this is that I’m getting a lot of good sleep. I can barely stay up to watch the news, much less watch anything else that comes on later.
BTW, I don’t think I will be watching Conan’s version of the Tonight Show much, though his having Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (one of my two personal basketball heroes from my youth; the other is Larry Bird) on last night was extremely cool!
Poor Jimmy Fallon, I’m just too tired to stay up to watch his show.
And no more SNL until after school starts up again in August…not if I have to be at the job at 6:45am on Sunday mornings! If I last until August, the 15th will have to be my last day. I can’t do school and work (even part time) too. My studies must come first.
I mean, I have to have priorities, right? Right?
Right now, I’m at UCO’s library, and I’ve decided that I’m just going to stay here until the job over in the Admin building starts at 5pm.
It’s going to be a long day. But I’ll sleep good tonight. It’s the walking the little over a mile from UCO that wears me out. Yes, Jeff fixed the 80’s bike, but it still needs a couple more things… like a cable for the back break and a kickstand. I tried to ride it here today, and had to stop in a hurry in the parking lot of my apartment complex, and I damn near killed myself! So he’ll have to make those repairs before I’d even consider riding it to UCO… though I might ride it to the job tomorrow to pick up my paycheck. I mean, just how badly can I screw that up?
Wait, don’t answer that!
Better sign off here and do something else before I head over to the Admin building to go to work.
