It got to 83 degrees, so Chaz and I went to Lake Hefner and hung out there people watching for a little while. Weren’t too many people on the lake; just saw one sail boat, and one parasailor who never got off the ground, so to speak. There was a family trying to fly kites, and someone who had fallen asleep on one of the benches.
We then went to Subway and got sandwiches, then went back to my apartment to watch TV and talk. Well, Chaz talked and I listened.
Tomorrow, it’s supposed to be much cooler and maybe rainy.
Keith Olberman is on the Tonight Show. I can. not. stand. that. man.
Actress Natasha Richardson, who is the daughter of Vanessa Redgrave and wife of Liam Neeson, died this afternoon after a skiing mishap in Canada. She fell on the beginner’s hill and hit her head, but was able to get back to her hotel room afterward. About an hour later, according to reports, she was admitted to the hospital. She then was transferred to hospitals in Montreal and New York. She died in New York after falling into what was called an irreversible coma. She was only 45 years old. She and Liam Neeson had two young sons.
How sad for her family! One minute she’s learning to ski, the next, her family is making funeral arrangements. How random life is.
I am the last to know anything in my family! Tori and Dean are finally moving into their new house, the one that should have been moved into six. months. ago. They’ve recruited Daniel and Jeff to help move furniture. I don’t know if there’s going to be a housewarming type thing or not. Probably won’t find that out until the last minute either.
That’s all from where I sit.
