I don’t know what it was, but this evening, I must have had the patience of Job, or I’m the biggest fool that ever crossed the threshold of UCO’s Wantland Stadium…
Between the college age kids standing up for the entire time I was at the game (I left after halftime) and blocking my way; to the kids who constantly ran up and down and up and down the stairs; to the man who screamed “Come on Defense!”; to the frosty reception I got from a friend (not you, Anne– in case you’re reading), I know I deserve an award of some kind.
An Oscar or an Emmy at the very least!
I thought I behaved myself rather well… but I’m not going to any more home football games by myself.
It just about killed me, and I don’t mean physically.
At least I know I’ll survive the mosh pit at Uproar on September 8th. I stood up or walked for about four hours.
And when I left, UCO was losing.
But dammit, I deserve an award…
Sometimes, it sucks to be me. And I was looking forward to going to this game, too.
I’m Stef, and this is where it’s @ !~
