Okay, don’t run, or you’ll slip on the ice and fall on your a$$ and break something.
Oh, that just applies to me, sorry. I’ll slip and fall on the ice and break something. And it will happen. I just hope it’s not me.
They are now calling (they being the weather prognosticators, including the young man who does weather for News Central at UCO) for anywhere between 10- 18 inches of snow on Tuesday, with windchills in the minus 15 degree category and an overnight low of (get this) 2 degrees. Above zero.
That’s pretty damn cold for Oklahoma. New England, they do that every winter…but here, it’s a “once in a lifetime” event (they say that about the Christmas Eve 09 blizzard, too…).
Me, personally, the snow will be fun for about a day. After that, I’ll start getting cabin fever and want to go outside. And going outside isn’t going to be a good idea (ice, snow, extremely cold temps…remember?) .
The probability that we won’t have electricity (therefore no heat, internet, cell phones, no way to cook anything) is kinda high.
And of course, there will be 24/7 coverage of the “Major Winter Event” on all the television channels, which we probably won’t see because we’ll have no electricity to run our TVs!
We’re going to have some fun here in central Oklahoma, that’s for damn sure!
I’m Stef, and this is where it’s @ !~
